Hi,
We have reliable family history which tells us that my Great Grandmother, Jennifer Wren was on the boat when it became a shipwreck. Cant see her name on the passenger list on your website. Is this a definite list you have? or is it possible others not listed, were indeed on it? She was about 15 years old at the time. Thank you.

Hello Karen, There were no Wrens or Jennifers on the Netherby. I have also consulted another passenger manifest that includes their ticket number and again - no Wrens. Is it possible that she travelled under a different name. There was more than one Netherby so do you know the details eg the date or sailing, where boarded etc and bound for??? We have found that there are misspellings and some babes not listed but I have not heard of a family missing! I doubt being female and 15 that she would have been a crew member. I have not checked that list. By all means, consult the family historian - it is of major interest to me in the count down to Netherby2016 that the passenger is accurate!! Let us know how you get on! Thanks Ann
