Looking back over a family tree on my mother's side (maiden name GILL), I noticed two of her relative were on the shipwrecked Netherby. They were Edwin and Selma GILL. They were Second Cabin passengers from Blandford in UK. The only other notation is that they settled in Melbourne. Semlma's maiden name was Langford. I notice there were some other Gill's on the ship, John and Mary (plus two children). I can't find any family reference that they were related although there are two John Gill's in our family tree going all the way back to 1700's.
